Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

Class parent/carer initiative

Roselea's Class Parent/Carer initiative provides each class with a Parent/Carer who is the main point of contact for all class and school reminders, extra communication, questions and events.

Class Parent/Carers meet with school principal twice a term to discuss upcoming events, provide feedback on school activities and connect with other like-minded members of the school community.

An expressions of interest form is distributed to all parents and carers at the beginning of each school year to obtain a  volunteer for each classroom.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping in the canteen
• getting involved in the P&C
• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.

We are fortunate to have a number of serving military personnel in our community who share their experiences and knowledge with our students.

Our P&C love to support all of our school events, the annual Easter Hat Parade and Easter Raffle always a big highlight at the start of the year.

In 2025 the major project of the P&C came to life with the opening of our Nature Nook. The result of years of fundraising.

There are plenty of ways to get involved as a parent, the school disco always a fun event to be involved with.

We always need a huge number of parent volunteers at our sporting carnivals. We love when they follow the lead of their kids and come in house colours!

In 2025 we held our first Science Day, it could not have been possible without the support of our community!

Probably the most delicious community activity, our dumpling making lesson for our Community Language Program students. This activity is only achieved through the support of some very special mums!
