Our extra-curricular highlights
Sport and PSSA
At PSSA, our sport program offers students exciting opportunities to develop their skills, teamwork and sportsmanship across a range of popular sports including netball, soccer, league tag and softball. Every Friday, students come together to train in the morning and compete against other schools in these sports, representing Roselea with pride and enthusiasm.
Our school sport programs include a range of sports delivered to students weekly on our wonderful school grounds. Roselea Cup is offered at lunch as a school sport competition to promote inclusivity and a love of physical activity.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities. Our band program consists of a concert band, junior band and training band with opportunities to perform at the Festival of Bands, Ryde Eisteddfod and many more events. Roselea offers dance groups and choir for a range of students to participate and perform in.
Debating and public speaking
At our school, students have the opportunity to enhance their critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills through engaging in debating and public speaking. They also get the exciting chance to participate in the Epping Rotary Debating Competition, NSW Premier's Debating Competition and The Hills Public Speaking competition.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world. All students have the opportunity to go on an excursion or participate in incursions each year.
