A year at our school

Our Year 5 debating team, led by Mr Widjaja, won their final last night to become champions again in the Epping Rotary Debating Competition! Their outstanding teamwork, critical thinking, and confident public speaking skills truly shone as the negative team on the topic of: 'Artificial Intelligence should be banned in schools'.

Well done to all the team members for their hard work and commitment—your achievement is an inspiration to our entire school community!

Congratulations to Jude A who was awarded as the age girls champion for Beecroft Zone Athletics Carnival. Jude placed first in both the 200m and 800m, qualifying for the regional athletics carnival. This is an outstanding achievement and one we are very proud of.

Congratulations to Leo V who qualified for the 100m and 1500m (Athletics) and 2km (Cross Country) in the Sydney North region. We are incredibly proud of his dedication and achievements representing school, zone and region. Well done, Leo!

Congratulations to Ashley R who qualified for the 50m freestyle for the Sydney North region swimming carnival. Her outstanding results in the girls 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly races make us so proud of her commitment and success. Keep it up Ashley!

Stage 3 students enjoyed an unforgettable adventure at the Great Aussie Bush Camp! Throughout the camp, students enthusiastically participated in a range of exciting activities, including rock climbing, canoeing, and traditional damper making. These hands-on experiences not only challenged them physically but also encouraged teamwork, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for the great outdoors. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to build friendships, develop new skills, and create lasting memories.

Our school proudly celebrated Harmony Day with a memorable special assembly that highlighted the importance of inclusivity and respect for all cultures. Students and staff came together wearing vibrant multicultural clothing, showcasing the rich diversity of our community. Throughout the day, buddy activities were held to foster friendships and understanding between students, creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. It was a wonderful celebration of harmony, diversity, and unity across our school.

Dumpling Making Day was a fantastic experience for our students! Everyone had a wonderful time rolling, filling, and folding dumplings while learning about this delicious cultural tradition. A huge thank you to Mrs Dong and our parent helpers for their support in making the day so enjoyable and successful. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and tasty treats!
