The canteen is run as a not-for-profit service for our students. The canteen is run by a trained manager, a canteen committee and parent volunteers and workers. The success of our canteen relies on both our continuing orders and our willingness to volunteer.
Our Roselea Public School Canteen is located on the main playground side of the school hall.

Food specials are offered throughout the year to raise extra funds for the canteen. These extra funds go straight back into the canteen to provide nutritious and convenient snacks and lunches for our children. Please support these great food special days.
Placing an order
The Roselea Snack Shack canteen is open five days a week.
Students can place an order before 9am each day either by writing the order on a paper bag from home and handing it in with money at the canteen window, by coming to the canteen window and using a paper bag provided to write the order, or by placing their order online through our ordering system at https://qkr.mastercard.com
Fresh tastes at school
Roselea Public School's canteen fully supports the NSW State Government's Fresh Tastes @ School program which ensures all government schools offer a healthy canteen service.
All foods are given a rating based on the levels of salt, saturated fats and sugars they contain. These products are classified:
- green foods – eat lots, these are the healthiest foods, low in sugar, fat and salt
- amber foods – eat sometimes.
- red foods – eat rarely, these are too high in sugars, fats and/or salt.
All foods we prepare and sell are checked to make sure that they are either rated green or amber. Please note:
- Some products may contain traces of nuts.
- Food bought from home cannot be re-heated at the canteen.
