Roselea has a number of choir groups to meet the musical passions of our students.
The junior choir consists of Year 3 and 4 students who volunteer to attend weekly rehearsals. They perform at a variety of functions during the year. Our biggest function has included the Primary Proms Concert at Sydney Town Hall. The choir are part of a massed choir and sing a large repertoire of songs. Other functions include Granny Smith Day, Grandparents' Day and the annual carols night. Junior choir are committed, enthusiastic and enjoy singing.
The Roselea senior choir is made up of students from Year 5 and 6. They rehearse weekly in preparation for numerous community performances, including the Epping Music Festival along with other local schools. The experience of regular rehearsals and performances are a valuable part of the students' music education, and the experience of performing at large venues in front of huge audiences will surely endure as one of those memorable times they have in primary school.
